Belovae started because Adam spent too many years on dating apps that were not designed to help him. They were designed to keep him on the app. The math of their business made that inevitable.
He started building the version he wished existed: an actual matchmaker, with actual judgment, that knew him well enough to introduce him to people who fit, and was honest about wanting him off the app and into a real life with someone real.
Today, Belovae is a small, close-knit team. No investors yet, no parent company, no marketing budget. A handful of people who got tired of how dating apps had become and decided to build the version we wished existed.
The whole product is built around one mechanic: you write what only you can write, a matchmaker finds people who fit, and then writes a fresh introduction of you for each potential match. You never lose your voice. You never lose your agency. We never write your messages or make your photos or speak for you.
The bigger thing we're working on is loneliness. Romantic connection is where we start, because that's where dating apps have been most broken. Friendship is coming next.
