Belovae is a new kind of dating app where every introduction is written by a matchmaker, not generated as a generic bio. Users write their own story. Users write their own messages. The matchmaker's job is the introduction itself, custom for each potential match. Founded in 2026 by Adam and built by a small team. Launches July 2026 on iOS and Android.
Dating apps have been broken for a decade because the swipe feed and the engagement business model are at odds with what people actually want. Belovae is a structural alternative.
Users write their own raw material: what they're looking for, their passions, sense of humor, values, what makes them feel loved. They tune their own match preferences (must-have, prefer, open to). A matchmaker then finds compatible people and writes a fresh third-person introduction of one user for another. Two viewers seeing the same user see different introductions, tailored to what would resonate with each. The user keeps their voice throughout. The matchmaker never sends messages, never generates photos, never impersonates anyone.
The matchmaking algorithm runs entirely in the company's AWS account on Amazon Bedrock. No third-party provider has access to user data. The compatibility model is internal to each account.
Belovae is being built by a small, close-knit team. No investors yet, no parent company. We have a clear position on what's wrong with current dating apps and what an alternative could look like, which is what the rest of this site is about.
